ARCHIBUS Users' Conference: 2010 Awards of Excellence Recognize Transformative Business PracticesIf the overflow crowd in attendance during this year’s International ARCHIBUS Users’ Conference at Chicago’s Renaissance Hotel was any indication, the economy is clearly on the rebound. That may be due in part to the efficiencies and savings realized by organizations using ARCHIBUS, public and private sector entities whose real estate and facilities management professionals shared how they are transforming their business practices and processes. Dozens of presentations—given by companies that included Kimberly-Clark, Northrop Grumman, Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Takeda Pharmaceuticals, the European Patent Office, and many others (see the entire program here)—provided incisive business perceptions and technology know-how for attendees to apply at their own sites. Once again, outstanding ARCHIBUS users were recognized for their creative and highly effective implementations during the annual ARCHIBUS Awards of Excellence ceremony (review the list here). Congratulations to all of our Awards of Excellence winners! We also thank all of our other attendees—and our generous conference sponsors: MicroView FM from Robert Stephen Consulting, Horizant, CFI, BRG, AOS Aremis, VISTAtsi, Pyramid Systems, and ESRI—for contributing to this year’s success. |
