Your Work Simplified...More About Mobile in ARCHIBUS V.21.3

As highlighted in our last Asset, one of the most important additions to our comprehensive solutions platform is our enhanced suite of ARCHIBUS Mobile Apps.

Now you can leverage these sophisticated, easy to use – and easy to deploy – RE/FM mobile applications that provide flexible, intelligent solutions for your most pressing tasks and service delivery challenges. Our mobile apps include:

Workplace Services Portal: This app increases enterprise staff productivity by facilitating FM service requests such as reserving rooms, "hotel" spaces, and locating people or spaces.

The ARCHIBUS Workplace Services Portal App comprises five "mini apps":

  • Service Desk: With Service Desk, enterprise staff have one place to go for all requests, and all requests are directed to one place for FM staff, saving the enterprise and FM department valuable time. All requests follow the business logic defined in the ARCHIBUS Service Desk SLAs for routing and notifications.
  • Locate Room or Employees: These functions make it easy to search for and find rooms and employees on a floor plan. Detailed information about the site, building, floor, room, and employee is available at the press of a button.
  • My Department Space: This feature graphically displays on a floor plan the spaces owned by users. You can navigate sites, buildings, and floors, either through a list or graphically. Detailed information about rooms owned by your department are available at the press of a button.
  • Reservations: Integrates directly with ARCHIBUS Web Central Reservations to ensure proper management of meeting rooms and associated services.
  • Hoteling: Integrates directly with ARCHIBUS Web Central Hoteling to ensure proper management of work rooms. You can–on the fly, in the field–search for and book an open work space by date, duration, time of day, location, room characteristics, and ownership, and view room details including location on the floor plan.

Space Book: With the ARCHIBUS Space Book App you have quick and easy access to key building data and drawings on your mobile devices, can conduct paperless space surveys initiated in the field, and also review summary and detailed space information. Navigate through your facilities' spatial information from either a hierarchical list or graphical drill-down – from site to room.

Space and Occupancy Survey: This App leverages existing ARCHIBUS Web Central business logic and Workflow Rules for Workspace Transactions to update and reconcile employee and organizational assignments to spaces, including percentage splits, employees with multiple rooms, historical analysis, trends, and churn statistics tracking. The field surveyor can update room information and comments, even include a picture of each space within the survey. Deploy this App with or without workspace transactions enabled.

Maintenance: With the Maintenance App you control the entire end-to-end workflow process while in the field. You can create, approve, estimate, schedule, assign, reassign, update, complete, and close work -- all from your mobile device. The App includes queues to manage requested, approved, issued, and completed work. The forms provide complete access to associated craftpersons, parts, trades, tools, schedules, estimates, and costs.

Asset & Equipment Survey: This App facilitates developing and maintaining enterprise assets. Organizations use this mobile app to get consistent data from the field on their equipment assets. Typically, they collect a few (usually less than six) pieces of information on each piece of several thousand equipment items. They do so with a team of field auditors–craftpersons, move managers, and administrators–who use the mobile app to document the current condition and location of equipment assets.

Assessment: The ARCHIBUS Assessment App provides a dynamic repository for data on the condition of items in your organization's physical asset portfolio, enabling a closed-loop process for corrective actions to address critical deficiencies. The App facilitates management of the most important assets throughout a building's lifecycle, and provides the analytics necessary to make informed judgments for mitigating risk and achieving the organization's core mission objectives.

Incidents Reporting: The ARCHIBUS Mobile Incidents Reporting App extends the ARCHIBUS Web Central Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) application to the field and provides a structured yet flexible framework to help safety managers track incidents as part of a comprehensive EH&S management solution.

Finally, the ARCHIBUS Mobile Framework's Mobile Executive Reporting capability leverages ARCHIBUS Homepage and Performance Metric Framework technology and delivers business intelligence when and where it is needed. Mobile Executive Reporting offers a business-intelligence solution that provides key information, trending analyses, benchmarking, and the ability to drill down into outliers and source data.
