The new Reservations Plugin allows an organization’s staff to work directly in Microsoft Outlook® to invite participants and make a reservation for a conference room or other meeting space in a highly coordinated way using the ARCHIBUS Reservations application.
The Reservations Plugin identifies rooms available at the same time as the appointment, and lets the meeting initiator view an interactive floor plan that zooms to that room's location. If an appointment is updated in Outlook, the Plugin then seamlessly updates the corresponding room and any associated resources through the ARCHIBUS Reservations application.
The new V.20.2 revision of ARCHIBUS began shipment on September 14, 2012, with a simultaneous language release in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and Simplified Chinese.
