TR160 – Revit and Extension for Revit | Online – July 9-11, 2019 (Mixed Classroom and Web)

The ‘Revit and Extension for Revit’ training is a 2-part course consisting of 2 days of classroom training on Autodesk’s Revit application (taught by a certified Autodesk trainer) and a 2-part web-based course (8 hours) on using the ARCHIBUS Extension for Revit. The first part of the course is an introduction to Revit for those who need enough knowledge of the application to manage Revit models for facilities management. The second part of the course is designed to teach those working with Revit models to link the models to ARCHIBUS, map the data between the two, and publish 2D and 3D floor plans to the application.  The course will include discussion of developing spaces and assets in Revit models, coordinating BIM execution plans, connecting linked models, and mapping parameters to the database.
Note: Web-based sessions require students spend 1 to 2 hours after each session in self-study and include an additional hour at the beginning of each session for an interactive question-and-answer period. An on-line environment is provided for self-study.
