This presentation will cover the Archibus Integrated Work Place Management System (IWMS) implementation at NBCU West Coast Studio Operations. The Facilities Operations & Engineering team transformed their service model across multiple complex properties while simultaneously transitioning from many disparate systems to IWMS Model. Archibus is leveraged at NBCU West Coast to manage all aspects of facilities work place management, service center operations, maintenance repair & operations, space and asset management. Learn how a comprehensive communication plan from project leadership introduced changes to business processes, supported adoption and how industry best practices were put in place. The presentation will focus on implementation highlights, change management, early wins, data management, technology innovations and much more!
As Vice President, Facilities Operations & Engineering, Matt oversees operations & maintenance of the NBC Universal West Coast sites including: the Universal Studios Lower Lot, 10 Universal City Plaza and the Dream Works Campus. Matt is responsible for strategic initiatives in the areas of Integrated Workplace Management System implementation and Smart Building architecture design. Prior to joining NBCU, Matt served as the Director of Maintenance & Energy Services at the California Institute of Technology, where he managed one of the nation’s premier energy efficiency programs integrating smart building technologies with maintenance and operations. Matt began his career at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a facilities engineer, quickly becoming the NASA JPL Energy Manager responsible for Energy Savings Performance Contracts and Building Automation Controls. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University Pomona.
