Job Description:

As a key member of the IT team, in your role as Network Administrator, you will primarily maintain the network domain but also provide support for our Corporate Website, which serves our business goals and mission.  This is a good opportunity to work with existing teams within the IT department.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and support internal and/or external networks

  • Break/Fix: Troubleshoot client systems support issues, and network performance issues
  • Provide end-user support and resolution of any technical questions, for all Operating Systems
    • Interact with internal users to resolve basic Help Desk issues; communicate with internal users in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Provide responses to internal users in a timely manner.
    • Remotely provide end-user support by phone, WebEx, Skype, or e-mail
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
  • Responsible for network data Backups and Data recovery

Requirements:

This position requires a Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or related field, and 2+ years’ technical experience in a business setting.

At least two years’ experience supporting Microsoft and Linux servers as well as server and desktop applications. The ideal candidate will be experienced in:

  • Issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, e-mail, etc.
  • Microsoft Windows Server, 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016 in 32/64 bit environments, Windows 7, Windows 8+, and Windows 10 in 32/64 environments
  • Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Active Directory
  • Exchange 2010, 2016, Office365 (Optional) SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2014, 2016, 2017, IIS 6, 7+
  • Network services: DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, IPSEC, VPN

Some knowledge of virtualization and cloud concepts (VMWare, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Amazon Cloud services)

  • Experience in the Asset Management Domain;

  • Experience addressing IT concerns of security, scalability, governance, and enterprise staff change management;
  • Experience deploying a corporate mobile solution;
  • Experience with ITIL and ISO standards

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience in the Workplace Services Domain;
  • Experience implementing or deploying hoteling, alternative-workspace or teamspace systems in the workplace;
  • Experience implementing a facility services portal or maintenance system;
  • Experience with cloud and SaaS deployments;

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with automation systems for CRM or ERP, or ideally Corporate Real Estate;
  • Outstanding presentation skills, excellent written and verbal skills;
  • BA/BS degree;
  • Ability to translate technical/business requirements into a tactical, technical sales plan;
  • Professional experience with report generators, databases, and queries;
  • Experience with IWMS, BIM, CAD, CAFM or GIS, a plus;
